High school sweethearts Mike and Sadie have shared a passion for home improvement since the very beginning. After purchasing their first home together, they quickly discovered a love for remodeling and transforming spaces. Every home they owned became an opportunity to learn new skills, take on new projects, and create a place they were proud to call home. Along the way, they often dreamed of building a remodeling business that would allow them to help other families do the same.

That dream became a reality in 2010 when they founded Affordable Remodeling, LLC. What began as a shared passion has grown into a trusted family business built on quality craftsmanship, integrity, and treating every customer's home with the same care they would their own.

Today, Mike serves as a member of Affordable Remodeling, LLC and leads the day-to-day remodeling projects, bringing decades of hands-on experience and craftsmanship to every renovation.

In addition to serving as a middle school teacher, Sadie is a member of Affordable Remodeling, LLC and the company's licensed residential builder. She oversees the daily business operations, construction oversight, and licensing compliance while conducting final walkthroughs to help ensure every project meets both our standards and Michigan's residential building requirements.

As the business has grown, so has the family involvement. Mike and Sadie are proud to work alongside their two youngest children, Aaron and Hannah, each of whom plays an important role in continuing the family's commitment to quality craftsmanship, exceptional service, and helping homeowners throughout Northern Michigan love where they live.
